Who is eligible for physiotherapy services with Senior's Health Physiotherapy? Do you only treat veterans?

Yes, we only provide physiotherapy services to those with a Department of Veteran's Affairs (DVA) Gold or White Card for at home physiotherapy services. We are looking to expand our services to the wider community in the future, we will keep you posted!

How much does it cost?

This is the best part, if you have a current Department of Veteran's Affairs (DVA) Gold Card, our physiotherapy services are completely at no cost to you. Everything is covered by DVA so you can enjoy physiotherapy services at home and rest easy. All we need in order to begin at-home physiotherapy services with us is a valid GP/specialist referral, thats it!

Where are you located?

We are a completely mobile physiotherapy service. Which means we come and treat you in the comfort of your own home. We service the Gold Coast and Tweed Shire areas. If you want physiotherapy services but fall outside this area, contact us and we will see what we can do!

What do I need in order to get physiotherapy at home with Senior's Health Physiotherapy?

In order to be eligible for at home physiotherapy services with Senior's Health Physiotherapy, we need a valid GP/specialist physiotherapy referral through your Department of Veteran's Affairs (DVA) Gold or White Card.

What do I need to bring/have for my first physiotherapy session?

If you have any health/medical summaries from your referring doctor that would be helpful. We also require a valid GP/specialist referral from physiotherapy services through your DVA Gold Card in order start treating you. If it this has already been been faxed to us by your referring doctor, then no need to worry, its all sorted.

Do you bring a treatment table?

Yes, all of our physiotherapists are equipped with a treatment table as well as all other necessities for our first session and all ongoing sessions.

Do you provide therapeutic/remedial massage?

Yes, all of our physiotherapists are trained in massage therapy as well as many other important treatment techniques and are used as clinically required.

Do you communicate with my GP/referring doctor?

Yes, ongoing and on a constant basis. We will keep your referring doctor (and other health specialists if required) informed and up to date with your current condition. This way you receive the best and most holistic care possible.
